About
The unique summer cafe is located at the gate to Ryfylke and the mighty Lysefjorden. Here you can enjoy, among other things, our traditional fish soup with pickled salmon, hand-peeled prawns, vegetables and home-baked bread in our charming Heimahuset or out in the sun on the terrace. Treat yourself to a good cup of coffee, ice cream, homemade cakes from Kronen Gaard Hotell and enjoy the great view over the fjord while listening to the sound of waves down by the beach.
Feel free to spend the day at Bakernes Paradis with the whole family. We have activities for both young and old. Here you can swim at the beach, fish from the quay, find crabs, walk on stilts, cycle and build sandcastles in the sandbox. We also have garden games such as Norwegian “kubb”, croquet, bocce and garden yatzy for loan.
Practical Information
Bakernes Paradis is open every Saturday and Sunday this summer. We are located at Lauvvik, 20 minutes by car from Sandnes and approx. 40 minutes by boat from Sandnes Brygge. From Stavanger it is 40 minutes by car and approx. 45 minutes by boat. A great escape from the city, without traveling too far!
We have plenty of room and good capacity both inside and outside. For larger groups (from 8 people), a table can be booked by email.
