In 2024, we are moving the play from Bakken farm to Preikestolen BasCamp. We believe this aligns with the spirit of Pilt-Ola since he was a wanderer and well-acquainted with the area around the entire Lysefjorden.
Those who purchase tickets for the play can park for free in the parking spaces in the area. A big thank you to Lysefjorden Development! The Preikestolen Express Bus and Boreal have route buses from Stavanger, and Pelle’s travels run from Jørpeland. Check the websites for more info.
The play takes place outdoors, and everyone must dress according to the weather and bring something to sit on. Sitting pads can be used everywhere, but there is also space for a limited number of camping chairs right at the front of the building.
Preikestolen BaseCamp has a kiosk near the play area selling snacks, mineral water, and sausages. The audience can also buy food and drinks at Fjellstua and Hikers Cafe. In addition, people can rent canoes, kayaks, or SUPs on Revsvatnet before or after the show, which lasts about 1.5 hours.
