About
Welcome to Sirdal Husky Farm where we create authentic experiences through a mix of history, people, and nature. We stake our pride in sharing the treasure of unspoiled nature with our guests. And we love recounting local history and giving guests the chance to engage in meaningful fun and play between humans and animals. Also, we offer husky adventures and team building for companies, as well as activities for families, groups, and school classes.
Activity, experiencing nature, sharing history, and culture are the foundation of a Sirdal adventure. Please join us for an unforgettable adventure, winter, spring, summer, or fall.

Husky Visit
Welcome to our dog farm where you can meet 34 friendly, people-loving sled dogs in their natural environment. Our dog handler will show you around and talk about the dogs and life at Sirdal Husky Farm. We let some of the dogs run loose in the yard, so you can enjoy close contact with a focus on play and petting.
Husky Farm Adventure
A three-hour, family-friendly program at the farm. We start with a ‘meet and greet’ session in the dog yard with our friendly huskies, who adore socializing with people. Then we’ll have a look at some dog sledding equipment and explain how it works. After that, we harness up the lucky huskies of the day and everyone gets the chance to mush a team around our closed course on a sled or on wheels. We round off the adventure with coffee/tea and a light meal in our stone cellar ‘Kjedlaren’ with a slideshow and/or tales from Sirdal’s history. Remember to give feedback on any allergies when booking.
Tee-Pee Cabins
Spend the night in one of our rough tee-pee cabins idyllically located in the fairy forest right by the river. The cabins are built with timber from our own forest processed at our own farm sawmill. We are proud to focus on re-use, sustainability and reducing our footprint in nature. The standard is simple and back-to-basic, with simple heating and without water, but with only a short distance to toilet, shower and kitchen facilities. You will find luxury in the experience of being close to nature, the animals and life on the huskyfarm.
Included in the stay is of course a visit to the dog kennel. We can recommend combining your stay with the activities Huskyfarm Adventure or Wilderness Spa.
The cabins contain simple beds and extra mattresses. Bring your own sleeping bag or duvet and bedding.
As an alternative, you can bring your own tent, hammock or motorhome/campervan. Stay close to the elements and find luxury in the experience of being close to nature, animals and the surroundings on the huskyfarm with short distance to toilet, shower and kitchen facilities.
