Nilsebu Tourist Cabin
Nestled beside the tranquil Nilsebuvatnet at the historic Driftavegen trail’s end.
About
Nilsebu Tourist Cabin is idyllically situated by the regulated Nilsebuvatnet. The cabin is an ideal destination for fishing enthusiasts. It is located at the end of the historic Driftavegen trail through Viglesdalen and provides access to marked hiking trails leading to Stakken, Grasdalen, Eidavatn, and Litle Aurådal.
The cabin’s history dates back to 1911, and it was most recently renovated in 2022. Despite the updates, much of its historical charm has been preserved. There are excellent fishing opportunities, with the potential for large catches along the marked trail into Storådalen towards Eidavatn. Nilsebu is a self-service cabin equipped with everything you need for cooking and accommodation, including kitchen utensils, tableware, duvets, and pillows.
