A fjord cruise to the jaw-dropping Lysefjord is an absolute must on a visit to Stavanger! The mighty Preikestolen, and the roaring waterfall, Hengjanefossen, are among the highlights of the trip.
Rødnes Fjord Cruise’s electric boat sails from Stavanger to the Lysefjord and Preikestolen all year. The 3-3.5 hours Lysefjord cruise is filled with fun for young and old. In Fantahålå (the Vagabond’s Cave) you see where the “vagrants” hid from the sheriff in the old days.
Not long after, you arrive at Preikestolen, where Tom Cruise climbed the sheer mountain face in the movie Mission Impossible 6. The tour continues to the towering Hengjanefossen waterfall, where the crew brings the bow so close to the falls that you risk getting your face doused with delightful spray!
The comfortable electric boat has sundecks, spacious cabins and a kiosk. The kiosk offers fresh and tempting baked goods from their local bakery, snacks and cold/hot drinks.
Boat change may occur. Departures all year!
