Lysefjorden Inn

The race starts at 8:30 am at Oanes Kai, and the route follows the road towards Jørpeland for approximately 7 kilometers on asphalt. When you reach Heiatjørna, the route takes a detour and follows a trail up towards the Preikestolen mountain lodge through rugged terrain.

From the mountain lodge, the route continues towards Preikestolen on a trail. When you reach Neverdalsskaret, take a left turn and follow a steep trail down towards Bakken and Bratteli. Along the way, you’ll have a majestic view of Hengjande before the trail continues over barren mountains with a beautiful view down into the fjord. Suddenly, you’ll descend into dense forest and continue towards Bratteli and Bakken Gård.

From Bakken, the trail continues downwards with stone steps before turning left through uneven terrain and rocky areas towards Songesand. When you arrive at Songesand, follow the asphalt road for approximately 5.5 kilometers before turning off towards Helmikstølen. Then follow a tractor road for about 4.5 kilometers into Daladalen, where you’ll pass the Songedal Tourist Lodge. The tractor road becomes a trail when you reach Fyljesdalsskaret, and you can see the construction road on the opposite side of the valley.

The trail then continues down towards Fyljesdalsvatnet and up a long, steep hill to a road, which is the highest point of the race at approximately 700 meters above sea level. Then follow the construction road for approximately 13 kilometers down towards Lysebotn and the finish line at the Lysefjorden Tourist Cabin.
