Perched on the hill of Hoppmannsknuten in Sirdal, Slottet offers seasonal dining based on the finest ingredients from the surrounding mountains – served with sweeping views of lakes, valleys and ever-changing light.
The name “Slottet” has long been used by locals to describe the viewpoint – and today it is also a destination in itself.
Here, guests gather not only for a meal, but for an experience shaped by the seasons. The food is rooted in place, built on close relationships with local farmers, butchers, hunters and foragers – people who know the landscape and work with it over time.
Locals meet visitors, conversations slow down, and the surroundings become part of the table.
We welcome both locals and visitors, couples and families, small groups and companies – in summer light, autumn colours, winter snow and spring thaw.
