Verkshotellet has an exciting history! The hotel was built in 1911 by the local company Stålverket,- to mainly offer accommodation to employed functionaries. In 2011, the hotel was completely renovated and has 28 bright and comfortable guest rooms, a separate function room and a seasonal restaurant. Activities such as bicycle rental and guided mountain hikes on site. The history of the steelworks still oozes in the walls, and much of the original architecture and style is still preserved. We also have a separate guesthouse that is perfect for groups traveling together. Here you will find a kitchen, several bathrooms, 10 accommodation rooms and 2 living rooms. Very well located - literally in the heart of downtown. Seating outside and a short way down to the harbor. All facilities / services at the hotel can be used.
