Welcome to The Bolder, a unique accomodation in Ryfylke. Our unique cabins are strategically placed to minimize environmental impact, providing a front-row seat to the majestic Lysefjord in Ryfylke, surrounded by rugged mountains and boulders.<\/p>\n

Our two SkyLodges are 22 square meters and includes two double bedrooms, designer kitchen from Vipp, fully equipped bathroom and a dining room with a view to die for. Architect John Birger Grytdal has designed a two-floor cube \u2013 wrapped in Canadian cedar wood. They are built on a single column to minimize the footprint in the landscape. Due to its unique design it will gently sway on windy days. Given the cozy dimensions of SkyLodges, we recommend that guests who opt for a party of 4 are familiar with one another, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all.<\/p>\n

Our four Star Lodges designed by renowned architect Sn\u00f8hetta opened in 2023. The Star Lodges range in size from 38 to 60 square metres and offer a unique, asymmetric form with a unique interior and view of the landscape. Inside, the cabins contain a built-in bed and bathroom, and an upper level with a kitchen and dining area fitted out by Vipp. Their floor plans are designed to be as open as possible, maximising natural light and views from the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows. The cabins are elevated on concrete pillars and lined with large panes of glass that bring the outdoors inside, creating the illusion of floating in the air.<\/p>\n

No food is included \u2013 but there is fully equipped kitchens in each cabin ready for you to use. Remember to bring the food and beverages you desire.<\/p>\n

There is a refrigerator and also a Nespresso coffee machine and tea kettle.<\/p>\n

Order food packages and have them delivered directly to your cabin.<\/p>\n
