Il le fit sans autorisation et devint fermier locataire chez Bratteli. Lorsque la Premi\u00e8re Guerre mondiale \u00e9clata, Mohr choisit de ne pas retourner en Allemagne. Il entendit parler de Sikke, qui vivait seule \u00e0 Hengjane, et fut bien accueilli lorsqu&#039;il gravit le Hengjajuvet pour lui rendre visite.<\/p>\n<p>Mohr married Sikke in a civil ceremony in 1917, and they had a child in 1918 who died shortly after birth. Mohr was a hard worker and engaged in various activities, such as logging, road construction, building a cable car down to the sea, and a pier. He also produced moonshine, which he sold in Stavanger and J\u00f8rpeland. Mohr's distillery was hidden at the edge of the cliff overlooking Lysefjorden.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_row et_pb_row_3 et_pb_gutters3  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et_block_row\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_column_2_3 et_pb_column et_pb_column_5  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et_block_column\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_module et_d4_element et_pb_text et_pb_text_4  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>The sheriff made several attempts to stop Mohr's illegal production of alcohol. Finally, in 1921, he succeeded. The sheriff paid a visit to the farm dressed in plain clothes and requested Sikke to serve him a drink. When she obliged and served him alcohol, he revealed his true identity and compelled her to disclose the location of the distillery, allowing him to seize the distilling equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Mohr se tourna vers la p\u00eache pour gagner sa vie, mais fut arr\u00eat\u00e9 plus tard pour vol et tentative de meurtre sur un p\u00eacheur \u00e0 qui il achetait un bateau. En 1930, Mohr fut d\u00e9clar\u00e9 ali\u00e9n\u00e9 et condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 neuf ans de prison avant d&#039;\u00eatre renvoy\u00e9 en Allemagne en 1932.
