L&#039;industrie mini\u00e8re a attir\u00e9 une main-d&#039;\u0153uvre locale et \u00e9trang\u00e8re, notamment des mineurs allemands et d&#039;autres nationalit\u00e9s. La mine \"\u00a0Enighetens Kobberv\u00e6rk\u00a0\" a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e en 1764, mais apr\u00e8s quelques ann\u00e9es, des d\u00e9saccords sont apparus entre les propri\u00e9taires, et le transport du minerai jusqu&#039;\u00e0 la fonderie de Hjelmeland est devenu trop co\u00fbteux.<\/p>\n<p>Durant la p\u00e9riode mini\u00e8re, Lastabotn connut une forte activit\u00e9. Les travailleurs \u00e9trangers furent bien accueillis dans le fjord, et certains \u00e9pous\u00e8rent m\u00eame des femmes de la r\u00e9gion. Mais lorsque l&#039;exploitation mini\u00e8re cessa, beaucoup partirent pour d&#039;autres communaut\u00e9s mini\u00e8res. Les Anglais reprirent l&#039;exploitation mini\u00e8re en 1868, mais sans succ\u00e8s. En 1915, des habitants de Stavanger tent\u00e8rent \u00e9galement leur chance dans les mines, l\u00e0 encore sans grand succ\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<p>Aujourd&#039;hui, les galeries de la mine sont ferm\u00e9es, mais des traces d&#039;exploitation mini\u00e8re restent visibles dans la r\u00e9gion, et la roche porte la marque du minerai de cuivre.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div
