T<\/span>his is an itinerary for the active hiker who wants to combine ticking off the highlights with a fjord cruise through the entire Lysefjord. It is technically possible to visit Preikestolen, Kjerag and Fl\u00f8rli i 3 consecutive days, but remember these are not walks in the park! We therefore highly recommend spending a bit more time in and around the Lysefjord; to wind down, explore other trails, or engage in other activities. Ideally, you should use at least 5 days on this itinerary.<\/span><\/p>\n Below, you will find our recommended itinerary. When driving by car, you have further flexibility to extend your stay along the roads to\/from Kjerag and Preikestolen.<\/p>\n Between Stavanger\/Sandnes and Kjerag, we can recommend hiking Ramntoknuten<\/a><\/strong> or M\u00e5nafossen Waterfall. At closeby Frafjord, you can go for a kayak or SUP board tour<\/a><\/strong>. Stop at Byrkjedalstunet<\/a><\/strong> for a good meal or shopping local products. You can easily spend an extra night in Sirdal<\/a><\/strong> for an excellent dinner at Slottet<\/a><\/strong> or visit the climbing park H\u00f8yt & Lavt<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n In Lysebotn, you can go hiking, play frisbee golf, rent a bike, or paddle in the Lysefjord. SBK Base<\/a><\/strong> offers rentals and tours.<\/p>\n It is easy to stay an extra night in Forsand. Gj\u00f8ysa Gard<\/a><\/strong>, Lysefjorden Marina<\/a>, Haukali 333<\/a>, Lysefjorden Hyttegrend<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>and The Bolder<\/a><\/strong> offer accommodation. Hike to Sokkanuten<\/a><\/strong>, Sollifjellet<\/a><\/strong> or Fantapytten<\/a><\/strong>, or join guided tours with\u00a0Nordic Paddling.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Near Preikestolen, you can stay at Preikestolen BaseCamp<\/a><\/strong>, Preikestolen Camping<\/a><\/strong>, Verkshotellet<\/a><\/strong> or Marih\u00f8nehuset<\/a><\/strong>. Villa Rosehagen<\/a><\/strong> in J\u00f8rpeland<\/a><\/strong> is a pleasant eatery in an old wooden villa from 1912. Go for more local hikes around J\u00f8rpeland, or walk to the popular J\u00f8rpelandsholmen Island, reachable by a bridge, just outside the city center.
