El final de 2020 nos trajo una noticia fant\u00e1stica. Tanto Kjerag como Preikestolen obtuvieron la certificaci\u00f3n como Senderismo Esc\u00e9nico Noruego.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actualmente, Kjerag, Preikestolen y Fosser\u00e5sa en Geiranger son los \u00fanicos tres lugares que han sido autorizados como rutas esc\u00e9nicas noruegas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es un placer autorizar Kjerag y Preikestolen como rutas de senderismo panor\u00e1micas noruegas. Estos dos destinos son de primera categor\u00eda y demuestran que la naturaleza es un gran atractivo en s\u00ed misma. Dice Ellen Hambro, directora de la Agencia Noruega de Medio Ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hasta 15 senderos pueden obtener la autorizaci\u00f3n de Senderismo Esc\u00e9nico Noruego. Kjerag, en la comuna de Sandnes, y Preikestolen, en la comuna de Strand, se convierten ahora en el segundo y tercer senderos autorizados. Fosser\u00e5sa, en Geiranger, es el \u00fanico otro sendero certificado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con el largo y estrecho fiordo Lysefjord a 600-900 metros de altura, de repente te sientes como si estuvieras en este hermoso paisaje. Es f\u00e1cil comprender el gran inter\u00e9s en estas zonas, dice Hambro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Destinos internacionales populares.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Existe un conjunto completo de criterios que deben cumplirse para obtener la autorizaci\u00f3n como Senderismo Esc\u00e9nico Noruego. Las solicitudes demuestran que Lysefjorden Utvikling y Stiftelsen Preikestolen han trabajado de forma sistem\u00e1tica y priorizado la calidad durante el desarrollo de Preikestolen y Kjerag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preikestolen ha sido un destino internacional popular durante d\u00e9cadas y recibe a m\u00e1s de 300\u00a0000 visitantes cada a\u00f1o. La ruta tiene una longitud total de aproximadamente 8 km. Es apta tanto para senderistas experimentados como para los menos experimentados. La mayor\u00eda de las personas pueden realizar la ruta, siempre que se cuente con el equipo adecuado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La caminata a Kjerag es mucho m\u00e1s exigente. 11 km de ida y vuelta con un desnivel de unos 780 metros. Cruza acantilados escarpados y desciende hacia exuberantes zonas pantanosas, antes de ascender a unos 900 msnm. El \u00faltimo tramo es hasta Kjeragbolten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Importante con la cooperaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Las rutas tur\u00edsticas nacionales ser\u00e1n un buen ejemplo del turismo sostenible noruego. Hay rutas con gran atractivo, gran afluencia de visitantes y una gran proporci\u00f3n de visitantes internacionales. La cooperaci\u00f3n integral y a largo plazo es una de las caracter\u00edsticas de las rutas autorizadas como Senderismo Esc\u00e9nico Noruego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El uso de la gesti\u00f3n de visitantes como herramienta ayudar\u00e1 a los senderos a soportar la alta afluencia de visitantes y a que estos tengan una buena experiencia. Al mismo tiempo, es fundamental cuidar la naturaleza y la cultura, y facilitar la creaci\u00f3n de valor local y el desarrollo de la comunidad local. Como parte de este trabajo, se han realizado an\u00e1lisis de vulnerabilidad de los valores naturales y culturales, as\u00ed como evaluaciones de seguridad para ambos senderos. De esta manera, se han tomado las medidas adecuadas para evitar que el alto tr\u00e1fico afecte la calidad del sendero y se prioriza la seguridad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es maravilloso que m\u00e1s gente explore la naturaleza y practique el senderismo. Para que las pr\u00f3ximas generaciones tengan las mismas oportunidades, necesitamos gestionar adecuadamente los espacios al aire libre. Debemos asegurarnos de que se implementen las medidas adecuadas. En algunos lugares se necesitan importantes mejoras, mientras que en otros basta con simples baches sobre una ci\u00e9naga, dice Hambro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovation Norway forma parte del grupo de proyectos de Norwegian Scenic Hikes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las Excursiones Panor\u00e1micas Noruegas son un buen ejemplo de c\u00f3mo podemos mantener los atractivos naturales en lugares con una gran afluencia de visitantes. Mediante una buena gesti\u00f3n de visitantes, tanto locales como turistas pueden disfrutar de las Excursiones Panor\u00e1micas Noruegas. Esto es importante para el desarrollo del turismo noruego en el futuro, afirma Bente Bratland Holm, directora de turismo de Innovation Norway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s del programa de autorizaci\u00f3n, en 2017 se estableci\u00f3 un programa de subvenciones para las Senderismo Esc\u00e9nico de Noruega. Desde entonces, se han distribuido cerca de 40 millones. El dinero se ha utilizado para construir caba\u00f1as de emergencia, equipos de rescate, servicio de guardabosques, puentes y acondicionamiento de senderos, adem\u00e1s de trabajar en estrategias de visita. The end of 2020 gave us some fantastic news. Both Kjerag and Preikestolen got certified as Norwegian Scenic Hikes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the moment Kjerag, Preikestolen and Fosser\u00e5sa in Geiranger are the only three places that have been authorized as Norwegian Scenic hikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a pleasure to authorize Kjerag and Preikestolen as Norwegian Scenic Hikes. These two destinations are in world class, and show that nature is a strong attraction in itself. Says Ellen Hambro \u2013 director in the Norwegian Environment agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to 15 trails can become authorized as Norwegian Scenic Hikes. Kjerag in Sandnes commune and Preikestolen in Strand commune now become the second and third authorized trail. Fosser\u00e5sa in Geiranger is the only other certified trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the long and narrow Lysefjorden 600-900 meters below, you suddenly become very small in this beautiful landscape. It is easy to understand the big interest in these areas, Hambro says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Popular International destinations.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is a comprehensive set of criteria that must be met in order to be authorized as Norwegian Scenic Hikes. The applications show that Lysefjorden Utvikling and Stiftelsen Preikestolen has worked systematically and had focus on quality during the development of Preikestolen and Kjerag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preikestolen has been a popular international destination for decades and has had over 300 000 visitors each year. The hike is approximately 8 km all together. It is suited for both the experienced and not so experienced hiker. Most people are capable of doing the hike, as long as you have the right equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hike to Kjerag is a lot more demanding. 11 km round trip with about 780 meters  climb. It goes over steep cliffs and down into lush bog areas, before following a height of around 900 masl. The last bit to Kjeragbolten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important with cooperation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The national tourist trails will be good examples of sustainable Norwegian tourism. There are trails that have a big attraction, a lot of visitors and a large proportion of international guests. Comprehensive and long-term cooperation are some of the characteristics of the trails that are authorized as Norwegian Scenic Hikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The use of visitor management as a tool will help the trails to withstand the high number of visitors, and for the visitors to have good experience. At the same time nature and culture must be taken care of, and the broad local value creation and development of the local community must be facilitated. As a part of this work, vulnerability analyses have been carried out for natural and cultural values, as well as assessments related to safety for the two trails. In this way, the right measures to prevent high traffic from affecting the quality of  the trail and that the safety is maintained and prioritized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is delightful that more people are exploring the nature and hiking. For the next generations to get the same opportunities, we need to manage the outdoor areas in a good way. We need to make sure the right measures are made. In some places there is a need for significant facilitation, while in other places it is enough with simple bumps over a bog, says Hambro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovation Norway is part of the project group for Norwegian Scenic Hikes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norwegian Scenic Hikes is a good example of how we can maintain nature attractions in places with a large visitor scale. Through good visitor management both locals and and tourists can enjoy the Norwegian Scenic Hikes. This is important for the development of Norwegian tourism in the future, says Bente Bratland Holm, director of tourism at Innovation Norway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to authorization scheme, a subsidy scheme was established in 2017 for Norwegian Scenic Hikes. Since then, about 40 million have been distributed. The money has been used to build emergency cabins, rescue equipment, mountain guard service, bridges and trail facilitation, in addition to working on visit strategies. Trails that are authorized will be prioritized in the subsidy scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
